Ceena LLC has an opening for the position of IT Quality Assurance Manager (Ref# ITQAM424AS).
Work Location: Cumming, GA and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Responsible for leading the software quality assurance / testing lifecycle for complex and large-scale software projects in a continuous delivery environment. Shape and implement the company’s QA processes and strategies. Conduct requirements gathering, systems analysis, and test estimation and design test plans. Perform testing on highly complex, web-based applications. Create test cases and test scripts based on the business requirements and use case documentation. Write SQL queries for data validation from various sources. Create test suites for each environment to be tested. Document and analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports. Provide technical leadership in test automation, testing methodologies, testing processes, tools, and techniques across the teams. Deliver zero defect products by conducting regression tests. Ensure that development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the defined QA strategy. Monitor all QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, and identify areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes. Work with QA managers and software development managers to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed quality goals. Be an advocate of quality assurance, continuous improvement, and industry recognized best practices. Use of HP ALM / Quality Center, Selenium, SoapUI, JIRA, Rational Quality Manager, and SQL. Travel and/or relocation required.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years in a related occupation including Test Manager, Test Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 8 years of experience with test plans, test cases, Quality Center, SoapUI, and JIRA. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
